Casa Colina, whose land was chosen by the clients for its direct access to the Pacific beaches, is a house in which contrasts complement each other. Interconnected wood, stone, metal, and concrete embraced by the surrounding nature, make up this unique project in the hills above Esterillos Oeste.
Two main volumes meet and form the mass of the project, positioned at the highest point of the terrain. This location gives the users breathtaking views over the jungle canopy to the ocean beyond. It also ensures privacy for the family.
After entering the property through a private and discreet doorway a large hallway reveals the main social areas: the living room and the dining room, as well as an open-plan library leading to private office spaces. Crossing the main living space you reach the sloped garden area, where the swimming pool is located.
The main floor of the house boasts spacious open communal areas that seamlessly connect to the garden, enveloping the space with an abundance of natural light. This design not only maximizes the feeling of openness but also creates a harmonious integration between the indoor and outdoor spaces. Completing the ambiance, elegant overhanging wooden ceilings contribute to the illusion that the house is gracefully suspended above the ground, adding a touch of enchantment to the overall aesthetic.
On the top floor are three luxurious en-suites, each boasting expansive space and modern amenities. Among them is the elegant master suite, complete with ample closets, double sinks and showers. Additionally, each suite offers a stunning, unobstructed view of the horizon, thanks to the hilltop location from which the house derives its name.
