When we begin a project we form a partnership with our clients, our clients choosing us and also with us choosing our clients.
Through our developed and tested processes, we have created a smooth and efficient system for delivering your project. We ask that our clients place their trust in us and our working methods in order to allow our experience and skill set to guide your project successfully through what can be at times a complex process. In return, you will be rewarded with a truly bespoke project grown out of a carefully interrogated design process. We will develop a brief with you to ensure a project that is a perfect fit for you, your family, or your business.
Designing and building bespoke projects requires an adaptive approach to design; listening to multiple key factors including the client’s brief, the topography, the budget, and availability of materials. It is a process in which we request control and creative freedom in order to guide you through with the best possible results.
We can be adaptable in terms of time and delivery however we will always urge against rushing unnecessarily through phases. Moving too fast will not allow adequate time to sufficiently explore architectural and engineering solutions. Usually, the more simple a finished building looks the more time was spent on the drawing board to achieve a sophisticated and simple aesthetic. Projects that are rushed through design phases will inevitably be slowed down by the need to address problems and solutions further along in the process. A thorough design phase will result in a smoother construction which will always be a faster project.
Our methods are drawn from years of projects under various governing bodies. They work and we ask that you trust us in our methods.
Phase 0 Schematic
The predesign phase is a key part of the process. It establishes a brief for your project. It is also the point that site visits are conducted and topographic surveys are studied. We help to hone in on your ambitions for the project and help develop a clear picture of the site, its opportunities, and constraints.
Phase 1
Schematic
This phase is an exciting one. It is where you as clients begin to see your ideas and discussions come to life through drawings and models. This stage sees a number of presentations and reviews carried out, at each presentation you will see your feedback and our discussions incorporated as the design evolves.
